ok i shoot a 2008 reflex growler set on 60 pounds and i am wanting to buy new broadheads..heres the question is 60 pounds too light to shoot fixed blades ive only shot them one time from my bow and the arrow tailed really bad

i started out shooting a pse deer hunter. with a pull back weight of 55 pounds. and i shot the 100 grain muzzy mx3 and they shot fine. i shoot now a ben pearson tx4. with 2 blade rage and slick trick 100 grain.

ihave a pse I just bought used and it is 55lbs, i have put about 100 arrows through it with fixed blade(4) broadheads and they are dead on every time. i am shooting at a target but i havent had a problem, maybe your weights were mismatched or veins were messed up

To answer your question, yes you can shoot fixed blade broadheads, question is, what did you shoot and how many grains? also, your arrow can be a factor too.

Of course you can> what kind of heads were you shooting? That gave you fits?

I would shoot Fixed blades, either a 100 grain Muzzy or a 100 grain Slick trick cant go wrong with either of them,,those mechanicals are sketchy..Better to be safe then sorry shoot a fixed blade..(THEY DONT MOVE)

Did you mean too light to shoot mechanicals?

You can always shot fixed blade heads.
