I try to breath through my nose. I also don't eat any meat between the time I brush and floss my teeth and when I hunt. I figure the smell of rotting flesh in someone's/something's mouth has got to be an alarming predator scent to a deer. I am tryign gumoflage this year for the first time. We'll see. I will say I haven't gotten busted by scent (that I know of) in 2 years. I'm kinda fanatical about scent control. I dress in the woods, etc. I'm in agreement that deer have changed. From what I understand, 20 or 30 years ago, deer didn't look up in tress. They do now.

Scent control is an all or nothing proposition. I suck on Vapor Trail lozenges in the stand. I figure it can't hurt;)

Thanks for the replies, i think ill try gumOflague, we are just so crasy about scent control because we have no luck, no matter how scent free we are, we just cant seem to get the big buck, and this year i really really want him :deer:
