Hey thanks everyone I'm kept the backstraps but are not sure if thyey are good. Woke up this morning at 4.30 and the current temp was 82. He didn't go over 90 yards so I guessing he layed there dead for 14 or 15 hours. don't know if it will be any good. Also need some help in posting pics. Thanks Jerry

Thumbs up

opening day in delaware is sept 1st. i gut stuck a doe about 8yrs ago and it was in the 90s and low 80s over nite. i let her be over nite and came back in the am. she hadnt ran but 80yds and bed down and expired. the meat was fine. also poked a 10pt in maryland last yr in early oct and it was 80s out. wasnt sure about the hit so i let him be over nite as well. got down in the 70s. found him the next morning and had him butchered and ate the whole deer through out the year and im still here. same with the doe.
