I had almost the same thing happen to me but it was bear that dragged it off over nite.

There are definitely coyotes in Northern Baltimore county. I live in White Hall, 5 minutes east of RT 83, 2nd to last exit before PA. Someone shot 2 last year 2 roads over from me. DNR came out and it was in the local paper as well, the lady even got the one mounted. I don't know how many are out here but where there are 2, you know there are 3 and 4 somewhere as well

nope, in N.VA, it's foxes. I've had 2 deer eaten like this here, and I have seen only one coyote in six years. I've predator called, and all I ever get are red fox. Also, back in 95, I had a nice eight eaten like this and coyotes were not around. I hunted that property for 15 years and never saw one (I know, NOT to say they aren't there)
