The other buck was a smaller 8 pointer and looked to be dead for a couple of days.I wish I would of got pics of them locked, but was to busy trying to get them apart. Didnt even think about it till later, when the big buck come in the back yard.

A friendly sparring session gone bad. Very cool story and a great buck. Is he still hanging around or did he get his energy back and leave? You may want to tie him up until bow season opens.

Wow, that is one heck of a story, good thing you noticed him. He is a slammer for sure. Hopefully he recovers!

That extra beam sticking off there is crazy. Hopefully he recovers. Maybe his luck will run out and he'll run under your stand later.

Great story and great buck. I hope you put some water out for him if there wasn't any near.
