Pendulum sights

What are the pro and cons to a pendulu sight.

To be short and to the point. Good out to 30+ yards. Vibration, most that I have shot have added a lot of noise. Only have sights for a elevated position. Some do have ground pins included but they are pretty cheesy! Also feild of view is normally small since it has the pendulum inside the sight housing. Some guys I know are very successful with them though. Not my choice but to some guys love them. Up to the person!
