bow tuning checklist?
 

Hey guys,

I just bought a slightly used bow. I was wondering what I should specifically ask the pro shop to do when I take it in for tuning. Its been a while since I have owned a new bow, and I have never owned a bow this nice. I want to make sure I get it right.

Things I would do:

Get the mfr's specs for the model you have.....and have your shop tech check them. Then verify center shot. Make sure you take the arrows (including BH's) you plan to shoot. "Tune" is a marriage between bow AND arrow.

Thanks GMMAT, what specs are you referring to? IBO speed? Draw length/weight? Let off? all of the above? haha

ATA length, brace height are measurements that should be brought back to factory spec and serves as a good starting point to ensure poundage, draw length , cam timing tiller etc etc
