I won't hesitate taking a 60 yard shot. I practice out to 75 yards, but the longest shot I made was about 55 yards.
The best shot I ever made was a head shot on a running rabbit 30 yards with a long bow.

Holy cow, practice at 75 yards. you must have some tiny sight pins. That is incredible, plus the running shot that is amazing! I practice 50 yard shots on a regular basis but I would never dream of 75.

I would limit myself to around 50 yards anymore the eyes just aren't what they used to be.

Man thats amazing, the only time I would ever attempt a shot that long woud be with my .243 WSSM.

37. I actually didnt believe how far it was until I stepped it off from the tree. Glad I had the range finder cuz I definately wouldnt have recovered that buck And im usually pretty darn good with yardage judgine lol!

I practice out to 80 yds(not trying to up the rev hehe) b/c that is the furthest I can get in my yard with out standing on the road.

I always attempt the long range comps at the 3d shoots as well. This years notable one was at 97 in the paris, tx ASA. It was a caribou. Missed him once out of 8 shots but the others werent too bad...

I have many times drawn back on deer at 50 yards, and felt completely confident. Just not worth the risk most of the time. I am confident, but at the same time, I always think, "Its really gonna be a PITA tracking job if she takes a step or I make an error somewhere".

I feel a bit more confident in the whole "deer takes a step" thing this year considering im shooting a considerably faster bow, but I still doubt that you will see me saying I made a 50yd shot...
