09 Wyoming Pronghorn Video!

Without further ado,

Although there are no hero shots, filler, hub bub etc.. here's a short version of the speed goat kill.

I have a ton of video but without a great video hosting site, here's the bread and butter of all of it.

The goat that walks away is ulitmately the goat I kill, if you read the story, you'll know that.

Rob, that was awesome footage. Amazing you caught all that on film then had the frame of mind to put it back on the animal during the death run after the shot, I wouldn't have even thought about it lol. Great job and awesome video.:party0007:

Sweet video Rob! Nice shot with the Air Raid. Will that be the bow seeing the most time in the woods this season?

TFOX 09-13-2009 08:37 AM

Good job Rob.

I am starting to try and video some of my hunts as well as my son's.Of course I am using a cheap video camer so quality is really suffering.Having a hard time picking up the animals through the woods.I liked the way you were able to regather yourself after the shot and grab the camera.Hope I will be able to do that.Last night I had to take the camera off the arm and when they got within 50 yards,I was shaking so bad I don't think I could have caught my son's first kill on camera if it would have happened then.Of course my adrenaline was pumping(probably more than his) with the thought of him getting his first kill.

Nice video. Congrats Rob.

Rob/PA Bowyer 09-13-2009 06:35 PM

I am glad everyone is enjoying it. I have so very much more however, to upload it to a worthy site to show takes so much damn time that I cut it back to the bread and butter. :D

okeechobeefishing 09-14-2009 07:44 AM

hey rob great viedo thanks for sharing with us all Jerry

HuntingBry 09-14-2009 08:19 AM

Nice video Rob. I like the spin-o-rama he does on the way out and good job getting him dropping on film.

Real nice work and doing it yourself, from a blind makes it that much tougher.:happy0001:

John Deer 09-14-2009 08:19 AM

I have so much more video that I should try to get posted. No more kills but some beautiful animals.

Thanks again. :happy0001:

fingerz42 09-14-2009 08:37 PM

Rob, did that shot hit a bit further forward than you anticipated? I was pretending as if I was in the blind with you and my aiming point was further back and lower than where you shot.. is this the difference in pronghorns compared to whitetails? Honest question.

MATHEWS PA BOWHUNTER 09-14-2009 08:56 PM

GREAT Job Rob,
you were right about the video:happy0001:

You can be my camera boy anytime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he he ha ha:woot::guiness:

KIDD642 09-15-2009 06:03 AM

We calle dit the PBR goat in camp. The footage was awesome. Greg and I watched it from a top of the hill but the video does it much more justice. Two thumbs.

Nailed the hair I was aiming at, aimed for the exit hole, the broadhead lodged just behind the right shoulder. Took out both lungs. I'd been safe just lower but I was not forward of where I wanted to be. Since he was quartered to slightly, I didn't want to be behind the shoulder or I feel I would have gotten one lung, tail end of the second or liver. Regardless, he was down in seconds. Could be camera angle as well, I was left of the camera.

RattleSnake1 09-15-2009 09:21 PM

That was some great work getting what you did on video Rob. I think most of us here would have just watched the show after the shot and forgot about the camera.

Rob, great pronghorn and video
that was quite the spin it did.
wish i had caught the little caribou i shot this year on video it did a spin and some sort of flip collapsed and then ran off.75-80 yards it was limping before i shot , my arrow was no where near his leg and had a open compound fracture of a front leg, that he did not have before the shot just wonder if he had a incomplete fracture and the flip completed it and popped bone through hide.
AGAIN CONGRATS
GOOD JOB

WOW, that would be something. Either way, what a good caribou to take out. Nicely done and thank you so much for the compliments on the video and goat. I appreciate it and love to share it with ya'lls. Same goes for the story. :s3:
