we got these on camera this weekend.

is the turkey a real albino? she has some brown showing and her eyes are black. she only has one poult left so am not sure that she had other white ones were ate by preditors.

Sweet pics. Doesn't look like she's a true albino turkey with the the shades of brown and the eyes not being pink.

Turkeys to have different color genes. That looks like a very light Narragansett.

Could that turkey be a cross between a wild and domestic- which are white? Pretty neat to see especially with it's young.

i don't think so. for one, there are no domestic ones that i know of in the area. the turkey also has every physical feature of a wild one in this area and none of the domestic traits.

domestic ones are very large, their wing structure and head are very different as well.
