In the past I have allways used alluminum , This year I' m switching to carbon express terminator hunters , the first carbon arrow I like , they have more weight than normal carbons but are still small in diameter equaling great penitration . One bow I have is so dialed in I dont evan want to breath on it and its useing alluminum , wont switch that one any time soon , finding the proper spine is allways the hardest part for me .

After 20 successful years using aluminum, I made the switch to carbon this year because of the quick " recovery" they make following the release of the string. I was told about all of the amazing attributes of carbon arrows both on this site and the pro-shop where I bought my new bow. Since the price was about the same, I selected the CE terminator selects. I have NO complaints!

I have been shooting goldtip xt' s for the last 3yrs. I' ve always thought they were " lite, fast, durable" , but I didn' t realize how accurate I really was until I picked up a doz. of eastons cobalt arrows a couple of weeks ago. Awesome!! Yes, I have already put a crease in one and now it won' t fly, but the accuracy of the alluminum is well worth the cost. And I would say that as fast as these bows are nowadays, most people are just to accupied with squeezing that last fps. out of their bows, that thier accuracy may be hurting a little.
What I really had trouble with out of the goldtips was that I would buy a couple extra at the shop and they wouldn' t fly with the others. A littlle low, a little high, that sort of thing. And I would have that occasional one that would just fly stupid (around in circles almost). I have yet to have problems like that out of these alluminums, and I don' t foresee that trouble to reaccure. JMO;)

Three years ago I knew I wanted to start bow hunting but knew nothing about the equipment I needed. My bow shop helped me and fixed me up with carbon arrows...

I' m sticking with carbon arrows because they are very tough and fly well...
They may break, but will never bend.....

[&:]I have a dozen of each. My carbon arrows are fletched with vanes and my XX75 arrows are fletched with feathers. Go figure.

Carbon for me to,There just alot tougher than aluminum,I switched to carbon back in 1997 and won' t ever switch back.

i shoot alum. right now, but im going to try carbon next year.
