I wish i could hunt that high, i really do but my fear of heights wont let me do it. 15 feet is about it for me.

While I hunt as high as I can, I only hunt as high as I can if conditions allow it. It depends upon my setup. There have been times where the canopy below me just wouldn't allow me to go high.

My only problem is that I cant see from that high up, too many bushes in my way, oh and the lack of oxygen up there in the atmosphere

If I go much higher than 20 feet it seems like my shot windows decrease and I have to contend with branches blocking my lanes but that I can't reach to cut.

I have stands from 12 feet to 30 feet but it all depends on the stand location. I have a very sweet 15 foot stand in a hemlock patch that if it was any higher I couldn't even use it.
