I plan to buy & use one this year. GIve me something different to try.

I use one of the Carry Lite decoys and have nothing but GREAT things to say.

Once the rut used to hit I would ditch the field edges and head into the woods. Now I have stands that I will put out just to decoy. The trick is make the thing visible from a far. I have found that if a deer can see it from a distance they are more relaxed coming in than if they pop over a hill in the field and see it.

Also the number 1 most importnant thing is WIND. As soon as the deer get down wind of it the gig is up. I have only had a few immature bucks stick around long after being downwind.

They are definantly a fun, exciting, and useful tool in my arsenal.
