Blind?

Anybody use the Ameristep Outhouse blind-

Just wondering if there's enough clearance to shoot a bow with this one.

I have not used this blind but IMO it looks way to small for a bow hunter. Even in the Doghouse model, it seemed like I had to sit as far back as I could to be able to pull my bow up and draw it without the tip of the arrow hitting the front of the blind.

I have one and it is not good at all for bow hunting. It would be ok for a cross bow or a gun.

if you setup right you can bow hunt out of it. but it would be a bit small to bring too much gear wiht you or another person, its great for turkey hunting and two people though.

I have the doghouse model also and even that one can be a challenge to draw in sometimes. I would say no to this one

I've got 2 of the Ameristep doghouse blinds, and they SUCK for bowhunting! (Good for muzzleloader though) Not enough room to draw your bow w/out making noise with your elbow and grip hand toughing opposite sides of the blind. Get a bigger one for archery tackle...

Guess I'll have to find another. Thanks anyway!
