I like how they didn't show how he died. They found him that next year stuck in a creek ditch almost blind, very skinny, and too weak to stand up and get out of the shin high 3ft wide creek. They treid to rescue him and got him out but his body was failing him like most albinos do. Can't remember how old he was when he died though. He is currently full body mounted in Arcadia, WI. His whole story very similar to the one you just watched plus the rescue attempt is in the video Monarch Valley. There is quite a few albinos running around the bluffs here of Trempealeau and Buffalo County. There is also another white monarch in the same area of this one currently that has a massive boone and crocket rack that the sheds have been recovered on for the last 5 years by a family and I beleive he is now like 7 maybe 8 years old. I remember that story..whata magnificant animal that was. The last 2 years we had an Albino buck on and off our property. Last year during bow season I almost hit him with my truck on my way back to the farm from an evening bow hunt and he must have came across our pasture and was heading north. He jumped out of the ditch and stopped in front of me no more than 4 feet from the front of the truck. He as a solid 6 pointer last year. We havent seen him this year yet so he may have moved North or South to the County woods. I hope hes back again this year.

It is amazing that he made it that long. An absolutely amazing creature.
