Default First pronghorn hunt about to start

I'm about to leave the house on my way to NW SoDak. Going on my first pronghorn hunt. I've done all the practicing I can do. Hopefully the moment of truth will come this Sat. morning.

Very excited

Where are you staying? I'm thinking of headin out there next month. I was considering staying in the town of Buffalo. I'm assuming your going to Harding county?

I haven't done to much research but have found quite a bit of walk-in land around Buffalo.

I'm flying into Gillette on the 5th of Sept, flying out the 9th.

Greg / MO, Kidd642 and jmbuckhunter will be there as well. We're hunting with Miller Outfitters just outside Gillette.

Just finished up an hour-long shooting session in preparation for our trip; now I'm lounging on the back deck eating my wife's homemade salsa dreaming of P&Y goats.

Good luck guys. I live south of Gillette and there are a ton of Antelope around here. Hope you guys get close to some big ones.
