Odorless. The earth scents just smell too fake.

I was looking to buy a Badlands 2200 and a friend offered to let me try his first to see if I liked it before dropping the coin on one. He had it in a plastic bag and when I opened the bag to get the pack out, I was about knocked over by a blast of mildew. I asked him if he had put it away wet after the last time he used it. He said he didn't think he had and commented that maybe it was the earth scent wafers he threw in the bag.

The new odorless spray scent killer they put out last year is fantastic. I am not a big gimmic guy, but that spray was awesome. I just wash my clothes, hang dry them, then hit the Hunters Speciality Odorless on all the potential stinky areas and I am off in a flash.

I use fresh earth and I have never been busted that I know of! It works well for me. I have all my clothes in a big plastic tub with earth scent wafers and then I spray down when I get on stand! I have NEVER had a deer look at me in a tree and bust me with there nose! I stand by that word to this day! I have shot deer with the wind blowing directly toward them and they never knew I was there. Hey to each his own just try to be as anal as possible when it comes to your hunting clothes! Thats all I can say!

We wash all our hunting clothes in Sport's Wash from Atsko. We NEVER use cover scents, just the odorless spray. We are super careful about scent control. I think it is the most important part of the hunt.

I use both. I wash my clothes in the odorless detergent. Hang them to dry, then spray the Earth scent on. It's worked wonders for me.

I always use fresh earth. I love it. Knight and Hale had a Body wash and a detergant that had the fresh earth in it and I cant find it anymore, Muzzy makes one too. I spray my clothes down before I go out with the fresh earth scent by Scent Killer. But at the same time, I guess you could go with odderless as well, they both work.

i am not a fan of the scent away products. i was in a remote location and used some of the scent away to do a crude wash on my shirt as it smelled like B.O. from a hard days hike to the stand. (did not expect 80 degree weather). it did not touch the smell. so i pulled out the scent killer spray re-washed it in that and could no longer detect B.O.

P.S. the d H.S. deodorant doesnt work either. i have now switched to the primos silver stuff seems to work much better.
