Best rope for making your own Lifelines.

Was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as far as what type of rope to use to make your own lifelines, the main line, as well as the rope to use for the prussic knot. I want to use 30 ft. sections with a prussic knot. Any info would be much appreciated.

Tree climbing rope would work. (arbor plex )
Do you have any tree guys in your area they may sell you some.

I personally think that Beal Ropes are the best.

I would think mountain climing rope would be ideal. You could check REI. There is also a place up the road from you in Exton that sells all kinds of mountain climbing gear. I'm sure you could get everything you needed there.
