SR--had a similar event happen a few days ago to me. I was working on my broadheads in the garage and left them out on dresser top. Something fell and hit the broadheads, thereby causing them to fall all over the floor. As I got done shooting my bow I walked back into the garage barefoot. I felt something under my right foot. I knew something had happened but it did not hurt that much for about 3 seconds. I then looked down and saw I had stepped directly onto a broadhead with my right heel. It cut me pretty deep and it has caused me to limp here for the past few days. Stupid me.

I busted up my ankle and shoulder on Monday riding a motorcycle. I have x-rays today. It is very very swollen and bruised. I hope I can heal in enough time to get some scouting/shooting in before the season.

I happen to think that the number 13 is lucky, but that is just me. Glad to hear that you will not be down to long. Chalk your mistake up as a lesson learned and an important safety point.
