I've shot them ALOT and they are great heads. Extrememly durable, razor sharp, and very accurate. I haven't had any of mine whistle either, and that is with probably 30+ heads. I would highly recommend them.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the st's... Not many people around here shoot them and I learned about them from this sight... Got mine from MeanV. Mine patterned like my field point out to 55 yards. I could not be happier w/ them and promote them to all my bowhunting friends..... The best bh i've ever shot.

I am actually switching back to them this year... I haven't shot them in 3 years.. the new magnums are MUCH sharper than the past.

I think all broadheads, including expandables, have a little bit of a whistle to them. It is a different noise than a field point produces at any rate.

This will be season four with Slick Tricks for me. I have shot lots of different heads.... and while I satisfied with nearly everyone I've tinkered with, STs are the only ones that really seriously impress me... and I shoot them to the exclusion of everything else for deer hunting.

I've shot Muzzy broadheads exclusively for close to ten years...but just switched to STs this year. I haven't even assembled them, much less shot them, but am looking forward to it in the upcoming weeks. I've heard nothing but great things about them.

I will not stop shooting slick tricks until something better is put on the market. Great head imo...

So would any of you guys say that there is no need to practice with ST's and just practice with fieldpoints? I bought a couple packs of 100 grain magnums and this is what they claim.
