Releases
I am going to start using a release his year and I was wondering what releases you guys like the most. I am kinda on a budget I don't wanna spend much over fifty bucks.

I have an off the shelf cobra that is on 3 seasons (with year around practice) that works for me. I like the trigger a lot and even though I am older than dirt I still shoot tight groups. I am trying to remember ( old age, 1st to go is the memory) but I am sure it is well below your budget requirements. I am always glad to read a post from a young bowhunter. I have been at it for 43 years and I still love it as much as i did when I was a kid. It lasts a lifetime. Good luck this season.

I use a tru-ball release and I think that last year I payed about $50 for it. I personally dont like a solid shaft on a release so mine has a string. Great release.

I have a Scott Saber Tooth as a backup but am uing the Fletcher .44 Caliper. It is a double caliper release with a very fine trigger. It is a smooth fantastic release. I prefer the strap and buckle releases over the Velcro releases . . . noise and reliability are my main reasons. I think this release was about $45.00.

I use the TruFire Hurricane Buckle.Think it was around 50 balloons.

I like my trufire hurrican...got it on ebay new for $32...also have a truball that was given to me that I believe costs around $40 new. I like the hurricane better with the buckle strap...no room for slipping or anything like that.
