Go to www.zaftbuck.com There's also a lengthy write-up with the story in North American Whitetail for this past month. The Zaft Buck was discussed ad nauseum here a month or so ago when it was news.

I hope that I can view this rack up close someday. He is truly a tremendous whitetail. To generate that much bone from a 5x5 frame is amazing!!! The current World Record P&Y buck came from my neighboring county,so I hated to see him dethroned from a non-Illinois buck.Who knows, maybe Illinois will take the record back soon enough???

IL-Cornfed, we will have the record for atleast another year and we will surely get it back within the next 5!! THat is my prediction!

I agree with Stealthy... As I read the story on the site mentioned above it comes to me that it's a "Pick up/Found" and not by the guy who claims he shot it. With the body torn to shreds(so I guess no mention of an arrow entrance hole) it can't be considered a kill. I missed the discussion mentioned a month ago. What was the populare opinion at that time.
