How often do you replace your biscuit? I've had mine on for two years and I shoot often. 50 - 80 shots per week. I'm starting to see some wear in the bristles, I'm thinking it's time for a replacement.

I used mine for about 4 years and had to replace it.Shooting that much I would probably go ahead and replace it if I were you.

I have had mine for two years. I shoot winter and summer league so I shoot a bunch. I have barely seen any signs of wear..

I've had the same biscuit (switched housings to a Fuse last year) on my bow for two years now and on my other bow for 3 (same biscuit) and I've noticed very little if any wear to it. Are you shooting the correct size opening? If you are using standard size (not slims) carbon or aluminum arrows you should be using an XL biscuit.

When I first started using the W/B I used a large because that's what I thought the package read but I realized that the large was not big enough and was causing the all to familiar "vane wave" that some folks experienced. Instead of switching vanes to stronger ones I figured out the clearance around the arrow was too tight and switched to the XL biscuit...nary a problem ever since, even with cheap run of the mill vanes on my arrows.

When you change your biscuit remember it's always better to error on the larger size than too small. It'll save you headaches down the road, even tuning was easier when I switched to the XL from the large.

I shoot year round and I replace mine every two years . It's is also the best rest you can buy for $40 .

I'm using the med size biscuit. I'm not showing any wear on the top whiskers, just wear the bottom two vanes shoot thru. I'm shooting 2" duravanes and I haven't noticed any unnatural wear. I planned on getting another one anyways, but thought it was kinda odd that it is showing wear like that.

It could be the duravanes, they tend to be stiffer than what I use. Perhaps that is the reason for the additional wear, I don't know. It also could be from a slightly out of tune bow or too small an opening. Try the large biscuit and see how it shoots. Replacement biscuits are only like $13-$15.00 so for that money you get a couple to see what works best in your set up.

I know the XL works great with my set up, so speed issues, no accuracy issues, no noise issues, no flight issues, no vane damage issues....what more could you ask for.

You really shouldnt notice too much wear on your WB. I had one on my Nova since the WB was put on the Market and never had to replace it. I put a new one on my Stinger when I bought it this past spring. I dont think Ill go to another rest.

I planned on taking a trip to my buddies shop next week to get another dzn arrows cut down. I'll have him put on a new biscuit and make sure everything is tuned in.

Forgot to mention I was shooting quick spin ST 2" vanes last year. They weren't shooting that great out of my setup so I changed to duravanes. Maybe that was the problem??? We'll see..

It probably was. Quick spins have that extra "ridge" on the trailing edge and that can be pretty destructive to anything it comes in contact with over time I'm sure.
