Default For all you aging experts.

Got this pic the other day, curious to know how old you think he is. I know he's not very impressive, but i'm bored!

I am no expert by any means but I am pretty sure that is a 2 1/2 or 3 year old deer. I have been wrong many times. I just don't see the body size I would expect in a 4 or 5 year old deer. He is a nice buck and looks healthy.

I'm with Chris2216.....I'd say 2 1/2 yr old with lots of potential.

I am not an expert either but I think he is about 2 1/2 years old or maybe 3.

Same here...2 1/2...though the nose does appear longer than I would expect...he just does not have the mass in the chest or the heavy belly of an older buck...

I'll go against the grain and say he's a 3 yr old. Hard to tell, based on that one photo, but I'd say 3 if I had to make an assessment.
