Just bought a feeder, whats best way??

When I hunted where a feeder could be used, we would mix in bird seed with the corn. The birds will pick at the seed by the funnel helping to spread corn during the day.

I usually just put it all in there and don't mix it with anything. The bird seed idea seems pretty good though. Being that its still summer I would set the time to put out the least amount of corn possible. Once it gets closer to fall and the weather starts cooling off then up it alittle.
