Good Youth Bow?

Any opinion or help about youth bows. I'm looking to get my grandson (13) a good youth bow. It needs to be able to be turned up to 45 lbs.

Hands down, Diamond Razor Edge. My 13 year old son is busting cheerios at 20 yards with his 3 weeks after shooting it. The package is under $350 and will last him a very, very long time. As about as adjustable as a bow can get, really zips an arrow to!

There is a really nice Hoyt Rintec on ebay right now, comes with everything bids at $200, I also like the Hoyt Trykon Sport. There's a Trykon Sport for $370 tyd at bowsite.com it also has everything on the bow and 4 arrows. I am a Hoyt guy, you get what you pay for. Don't want him hating bowhunting because of a bad set up. Good luck and shop around, good deals all over the web.

Bear

I purchased the Bear Odessey II for my daughter. I was able to start her at 20lbs and she is now pulling 40lbs. It's adjustable to 50lbs. I think it's a great starting bow for under $300... comes with sight and arrow rest.

Hands down, Diamond Razor Edge.
Without a doubt this bow is the best youth bow for a growing child made right now. It is adjustable from 30 - 60 pounds with out needing to replace limbs and draw length is adjustable from 19 - 29 inches with out the need for a bow press.

It retails for $329.99 as a complete package. You will need to add arrows and a release. It is also available as just a bow if you want to buy your own accessories.

At 29" and 60 pounds the razor edge will fling a 350 grain arrow at 291 fps. It will shoot an IBO spec arrow at 310 fps. This is a smoking fast youth bow. One of the absolute fastest youth bows I have ever seen.

The Mathews mustang is definitely a nice bow but there is no adjustment what so ever in draw length. You must buy new cams every time you need to move to a longer draw length.
