Hey MH or HBTV

In one of those episodes it shows you guys setting up some stands and the steps used looked like a screw is put in with a small ratchet then the step slides over the end of the screw in a slotted hole. What steps are those? I am currently looking for a new system (either strap on steps or something similiar) and those looked pretty useful. I imagine you can get some extra screws and leave the screws in place and just pack in your steps.

That would be ideal for me as I am currently trying to find ways to deter stand thieves:bash:, locks are great but if I can make it so they would need a ladder that would probably help too.

Thanks in advance.

Your right...those are API skyhook treesteps. Unfortunately they quite making them a long time ago. You can find them on ebay but they are very expensive! Just like you said, you screw the lag bolts in the tree and just use the steps to slide over them. Not only are the lag bolts cheaper than screw in steps but it also helps to deter people from stealing your stands!

Thanks, I will definitely look into them.

EDIT: Found some on Ebay 15 pack of regular ones and 8 pack of folding ones, they are a little pricey but not too bad. I can't bid at work so I'll probably miss these but now that I know the name of them I'll keep checking back for them.

These look similiar.
