it works as an attractant, whether it helps with antler developement or not is still up for debate.
Camocop, Have you used it?
yes, i have numerous Trophy Rocks out on my Georgia lease. the deer seem to like them.
I'm in Georgia also...how long does the "rock" last?

You can get mineral (Deer Blocks) blocks high in calcium at Tractor supply that last longer for about half the price of a trophy rock. I put a trophy rock out and it didn't last long at all. I won't be buying anymore trophy rocks.

I use a similar recipe to this and it has served me well. Once established it will draw deer for over a year without refreshing it, but I usually do.

They are also about 16% protein. They are a copy of Antler King's big block. They are what I use and like.

I have had much luck with the Trophy Rock. As you can see by this picture the deer are actually eating the ground around the rock. After removing the rock they continued to eat the ground and ended up eating a hole in the ground over a foot deep and three feet across.

One of the mineral licks I established with the granulated stuff is now knee deep and almost 4' across. I never hunt near them basically because of where I put them, and most of the pics I get are night pics (not all) but a mineral sight will really get used by the local deer.
