How long does the bow season run in your home state,I'll start,Here in louisiana it opens for most of us october 1st and runs through jan 31st,there are some parishes that opens mid sept.also the tensas federal wildlife refuge it usually opens the last weekend in october and runs through jan.31st.On wma's it is closed during the general gun season,but it is open during the gun season on privite land.

September 1 thru January 1. Some areas of the state it is August 15 though.

in wisconsin this year it starts september 12th and goes through early january. i hate the fact that we cant bowhunt during gun season or muzzleloading season.

I'm not even 100% comfortable in the woods during gun season when I have a gun of my own. We have way too many yahoo good ol boy type hunters in my neck of the woods. I don't think I would want to share the woods with them with a bow in hand.

at first i thought the same thing but i actually have some good movement cause all the orange army pushes them to my land.

Kentucky opens the first Saturday in September and runs through the third weekend in January. Archery equipment is allowed anytime during that span...if you should choose to bow hunt during the gun season...though restrictions/bag limits for firearms apply.

October 1 through January 15
