JUST SOLD MY SQ2
Hey guys,
I almost cried once I handed the SQ2 in. I had to do it......it was getting a little small for me and too hard to hold back. :( Now, after much thinking I' ve bought myself a Tech29. I' m still in the middle of sighting it in.....and already miss shooting the SQ2. It was much quieter and smooth to shoot. Tech29 seems to be easier to hold but less predictable than the SQ2. Perhaps I should have bought the Mighty might instead. Anyone else shooting a TECH 29? What are your opinions? |

RE: JUST SOLD MY SQ2
Tech29, I have a Mighty Mite. I shot the Tech 29 & Mighty Mite before choosing the MM. I felt it was a better shooting bow. Less vibration & recoil. A little faster, too. If you haven' t got a stabilizer yet, try a Vibracheck Isolator. I tried lots of different stabs & felt the 7 1/2" Isolator worked the best. You say it' s unpredictable. I assume that to mean a little less forgiving than your old bow. All the extra speed will make the Tech more critical to form. Once you' re used to the bow, it will shoot as accurately as the old one. I shoot the MM at 3D occasionally, and have gotten some pretty good scores with it. With Limb Savers, cat whiskers, & the Isolator, my MM is very quiet & easy shooting

When someone buys a new bow, it usually takes a period of time to adjust to a different feel, sound, balance etc. Make sure your draw length is comfortable, not too long or too short, { which you can adjust on your 29}. It also takes a while to gain confidence is a new set up which will increase your accuracy over time. My wife wouldn' t give her' s up for anything and she shoots it very well and it is very quiet to boot. I can even shoot it to the same point of impact and degree of accuracy while it is 3 inches short of my draw length!!! Have fun.

Yes, less forgiving is what I meant.
I' ve shot the Tech29 many times before and have always enjoyed it now it' s a matter of getting use to it. Either way it was just a sad day, almost like being married and cheating on your wife! ;) |
