ground blind vs. treestand

Well still fairly new at this so I'm trying to find out where to spend my money. What is the majority choice, ground blind or treestand

You should buy a nice comfortable climbing stand to start.I use a Summit Viper and it works really good for me.

While I use both, and both have their place. I definitely prefer to hunt out of a Tree Stand.

I use both for certain situations. Mostly tree stands but when there is not a tree (or not a good tree) I use make shift blinds or an ameristep.

California and Arizona...ground blind works better on everything, never see alot of treestaands around here. Maybe up in Nor.Cal

Get a good climber (I assume eastern whitetails since you're from MD).
Summit, API, or Lone Wolf depending on budget.
Don't go up without your safety harness.

Where you from in MD?

I use both, but I prefer making my own ground blind out of natural surroundings, has been working for me for over forty years.

anytime you can get up in a tree, youre gonna have an advantage over a ground blind.. but you cant always get in a tree so a good blind is also effective
