I own 100 acres and lease 113 acres next to mine from my cousin. I don't hunt 30 of the 100 at all. So, on 183 acresI have 16 stands(10 lock ons, 2 ladders, 2 tripods, and 2 box stands).My hunting partner rarely hunts anymore, so I don't hunt all of my stands. I regularly hunt 10 of them throughout the season with bow and gun. Several of my lock ons are Gorillas, but I have several different brands.

At the cabin land (185 acres), we have roughly 10 built stands that see yearly maintainence and use. I personally have 10 lock ons, 2 ladders and one climber. I have no preference in ladders or climbers as I use them the least. Lock ons, I like the 50 dollar Gander stands. They suit my budget and purpose just fine.

Wow, that's enough stands to be able to share with out of state friends who come to Illinois and need a place to hunt.

I have two stands, an Ameristep hang on and a Gorilla climber.
