nice post revival....the memories I have hunting with family and friends far outweighs the trophies we have shot over the years.
A lot of people have put shooting a big buck as a priority over enjoying the very experience they are involved in.I get it that to some that challenge can be the enjoyment and power to those guys but why not keep it simple and just enjoy getting out..anything else is a bonus.
I have grown over the years from (deer hunting) to not shooting young deer but only because in my case I have been fortunate enough to aquire a good piece of land which I built on and hunt right there.
I enjoy planting food plots and game cams.Just the whole experience of hunting with family and friends.We have a good deer herd and just shooting anything would end my season to early so I choose to wait for a more mature one for the challenge and more time in the stand.
Some of the guys in our group don,t get out to often and enjoy the meat so no judgement is passed on anyone for what they choose to shoot.
Any deer you choose to shoot and recover is a trophy to me.
