Who says you cant use a target bow for a little hunting.

I got my Bowtech Pro40 set up yesterday so this morning I decided to go to the range to sight it in.
I will tell every one that this bow is one sweet shooter and will drive tacks.
After sighting it in I was shooting 1 1/2" groups at 35yds thats when this little guy showed up.
I stalked to within 21yds took aim and put the pin right on the base of the skull where the head meets the neck.
Sent the CXL 250 on its way and hit exactly where the pin was this guy did not know what happened one minute he was munchin on grass the next he was posing for the picture.
If you look closely at the pic just below the ear you can see where the arrow exited.

So for dinner tonight I am havin me some baked rabbit;)

lol...good job!! congrats on the rabbit..it would take a good shot to hit one of them with a bow!!!!...hope your new bow is good to you! looks like you and the bow have a nice understanding already!

Hope rabbit season is in down there at Texas...:D...If not you just helped the Game&Fish...;)....Nice bow BTW

Good shootin' , Aussie! Don' t think I coulda done a whole lot better than that with my longbow. :D

One cottontail is just a snack though. You need at least 5 more to make a meal. ;)

Cut ' em up, dip the pieces in seasoned beer batter and toss ' em in the deep fryer. Some fries, Texas toast, a couple of jalepenos, wash it all down with a couple of Dos Equis... MMMM!!

I know what happened. That rabbit was attracted to that " puuuuurrrrrttyy" bow of yours and came right in. Is that your game plan for deer too or are you going to actually scout before the season?
