RE: got the job...
The Hoyt MT, and the hoyt kit IMO are a great setup. One of the best deals out there, quality bow and accessories - great company behind you.
It is a set up that will last you many years Good Luck |
RE: got the job...
The Hoyt bows are great bows and you can' t go wrong with them. However, you should also look ath the Parker Hunter mag and Stealth mag kits. They are running about $400 for the kit around here. With the Parker you also a machined aluminum riser instead of a cast riser. They also have a lifetime warranty on the entire bow including the limbs Hoyt gives you a 3 year warranty on the limbs.
All accessories are factory mounted, adjusted and tuned to fit the bowhunter. Total assembly time for the dealer, 5 minutes or less. " Outfitter" includes Parker Quiver, 4 Beman Carbon Arrows with Points, Fiber-Optic Sight, Caliper Release, Quik-Tune 1000 Rest, Peep Sight, String Silencers and Braided Sling. The only thing you will need is a stabilizer. After assembly, set-up and tuning, the bow and accessories are shipped in a special bow box, suitable for a permanent carrying case. |
RE: got the job...
Bigbulls,it seems that there is a discrepancy on the warranty. The following is on the back of the catalog.
All Hoyt Usa compound bows are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship to the original owner on all risers,LIMBS,limb pockets, and eccentrics for the life of the product* *for warranty on other components please see warranty policy in owners manual. When you go to the owners manual it says the limbs are covered for 3 years as you stated. Makes you wonder what is going on. In any case the MT Sport will be an excellent bow and would serve you for a life time if you chose to use it that long.I prefer the Magnatec over trhe MT but both are excellent bows. |
RE: got the job...
I don' t know what the manuals say but I got my info from the Hoyt USA and Parker web sites.
HOYT USA COMPOUND BOW WARRANTY All Hoyt USA compound bows are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship to the original owner on aluminum risers, limb pockets, and eccentrics for the life of the product. Compound limbs will be warranted for three (3) years. PARKER COMPOUND BOWS are warranted for the lifetime of the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty excludes normal wear on strings, buss cables and bow finish. Damage caused by mishandling, abuse, dry-firing, modification of the product or shooting improperly spined arrows is not covered and may void the warranty. |
