RE: Rangefinders???
I have a Nikon prostaff 440 and a Bushnell Yardage pro. like them both. My preferance is theNikon, but the Bushnell just feels better in my hand. I let my oldest use/have the nikon. They both work as advertised and do the trick for me.
On the archers choice, I have used one but didnt feel at the time I needed one for where I hunt. Midwest, closerange 30-40yrds max. Not that they don't / won't work, just not a big deal to me. I just find a tree close to my shooting lane and target it at the same level as my stand. But now I am planning a OR elk hunt and a real need to see how much drop/rise I am shooting on might be a must...hope this helps |

I use the Nikkon 440 and it works well for me . The archers choice isn't necessary for the price

RE: Rangefinders???
As I said in another thread tonight, the Nikon Archer's Choice would be the rangefinder I'd buy if I were buying one today. But I also hunt in SE Ohio where I may set my stand on a finger of a ridge, and the shots I may take may be from 40-60ft above the animal but only horizontally 25-30yds.
