RE: octane quilver problem

Sounds like a Mathews problem not an Octane problem. LOL I'm just kidding.:D

You say it doesn't fit the holes? Does Mathews make theirs special for a 2 piece? I know when I shot Hoyt their holes had a triangle around them for their own 2 piece quiver. Does Mathews do something similar? And when you say loose, the actual bolt through the hole or the bolt wont tighten down all the way?

The Octane quiver has a small red button on the nocking side......appears to be a good setup but when I torque it down I can still move the quilver. It is not loose but not rock steady either.

I beleve I will sell it.

As far as I know only Mathews 2 piece quivers will fit a Mathews bow properly. The Mathews mount is a circle with a bump out for a locking screw. This "bump out" also keeps the quiver from rotating on the bow. Unless the Octane mount is exactly the same it won't be secure.

When I purchased my Octane it came with differant inserts for different bows... are you using the correct one?

Hey Alaska,
Is that quiver worth the $120+ they want for it?
Just curious..

thanks for the replys

I bought it used so they had a insert for the Matthews bow..........that is what I need.

Once I get the proper insert......really like the Magnetic Hood sweet.

Less than 100.00.........is what I gave for it.

I'm glad you got itsorted out and it's nice that you are able to purchase the correct inserts, the Octane line seems like pretty well made stuff.
