I want a good arrow for deer maybe turkey. I figure a dozen under 150.00 fleatched with the new quikspins I think i can get it done for that I want a top of the line arrow but i do not want to waste money on a name unless i need to. But i also do not have proplems spending the money for arrows.

RE: good arrow
Easton Axis is what i shoot and i pull 68 pounds also and my arrow lenght is 28 inches. These are great arrows. I bought a dozen and then went and and got another dozen a few months later. I shoot them with the blazer vanes and they ran me about $130 and that was for the camo ones.

RE: good arrow
Gold tips. XTs work fine and you wont spend your 150. Or you can upgrade to the pros but if just for hunting there really isnt any need. Use the extra money for other toys.

RE: good arrow
The Cabela's arrows in my Sig-Line in a 65/80 with a 125gr tip would work just fine for you, and they are HONESTLY better than the GT XT's or the Radial Weaves or Terminator Lite's I've shot, while also being cheaper. Call a Cabela's retail store and mail order them through the archery department cut to length, for the same money you'd pay to have the uncut shafts sent to you from the catalog/internet warehouse. Cutting is done free of charge in the stores, and they square them with a G5 Arrow Squaring device. I try to buy from my local shop, but there are some things that are good deals and good products that I just can't/won't buy there.

RE: good arrow
I use the Goldtip XT Hunters, I know that there are better arrows out there but I don't think that theyare magic either. I know my abilities and I personally don't think that its worth double the price to havemy group size shrink from 6" to 5 1/2". If you were shooting competetively I'd say spend the money but there are lots of good arrows out there for less than $150.
