I've used several models/brands of blinds and the DB Darkhorse is hands down the best IMHO.

If given the choice between a BT and a Bear (with cost not being a factor).....which one would you shoot?

As far as "value"....I've stated I feel the ASAT is probably the better value (of the ones I'm familiar with). If money is no object.....the DB is the top of the line (again....my opinion).

Bear makes a great bow.....and until recently, I owned one. No argument, here.

To be honest I am shooting the showdown because I liked the feel and fit versus a lot of the others in my price range, not for its price or anything else. I was just curious if you had a bad experience with a bear bow or something and didn't like them. As far as the blind goes I personally did not buy it my wife did, and I don't want to discourage her from buying me these types of things so I want to use it, even if that means I can only use it for hunting with a gun.

As mentioned, you can buy a cheap blind... and then wish you bought a good one in the first place, OR you could just buy a Double Bull blind now and be happy and hunt for many years out of it. ;)

I have the Matrix and the dark Horse and man they are as good as they get! My favorite of the 2 is the Dark Horse.
