Slick Trick users I need some reviews

Hey guys and gals. I was thinking about using slick trick broadheads for deer season in the fall. I would like to try mechanical but I don't wanna chance something not opening. Anyways, this past season I used 3 blade 100gr. muzzy's and missed two deer with them. I was not impressed with them at all and how you had to sight them in with the practice head. I have heard a lot about the slick tricks and I know many of you on here use them so I wanted to hear what you thought about them. From the standard slick trick, the grizztrick, razortrick or the magnum, what ones you like the best. Also when you used them how good was the entrance/exit hole on the animal as well as the blood trail and how long it took for the deer or animal to drop. Pictures would be awesome as well.

Thanks,
-Joe

For me...

-They fly exactly like my fp's, no re-tuning for broadheads
-they are a tough little fixed blade, shatters/goes throughbone
-only taken 2 shots at deer with slick trick mags, and neither of them went more than60-70 yards. A little doe only went about 40 and dropped.
-I found them on accident, but they are much better than the few other brands I've tried them against.

There are a lot of good BH's out there, I just like Slick Tricks a lot...

For me the Standards, Magnums, & Grizz Tricks all fly the same. I have went in the field with all in my quiver.

I've used Slick Tricks since 03 and Gary has made many improvements since then, but I would still choose the 03 models over anything I've seen.

They are Super sharp, Tough as an Anvil, Excellent flight, and inflict some Major damage.

What else could you ask for out of a Broadhead?;)

I forget if it was the standard or magnums, but I shot a bear at 30 yards with one, double lungs and it dropped no more than 10 yards from the shot! They fly good, They are accurate, and they pretty cheap too! Best fixed blade I've tried!

When I used to shoot Muzzy's I found that they were a little finicky. The groups were always larger than with field points and if the wind was blowing they'd fly really weird, kind of like a knuckle ball. Not so when I finally bought my slick trick magnums, they fly like darts and group size shrank to the same size as my field points. Not much need for mechanicals when you have a fixed blade that flies like a trick does.

Hands Down, best BH's I've shot....

They leave good holes.....

And are quite accurate......

Even the smaller game go down quick with them, attests to both accuracy, and how well they work......

My review, they're the best BH you'll find, and they'll actually shoot a touch more accurate than even some Mechanicals.

I just started using slicktricks last year an love them. I had been shooting muzzy's for the last couple of years and don't have any complaints accept that they could be a little finicky about insert alignment. Your inserts still should have goo alignment when shooting the tricks but they aren't as finicky if one is a tad off.

Performance wise I couldn't ask for any better. I shot a six point in Michigan at 21 yards double lung, he just took the shot and walked for 20 yards and fell over. I shot a doe on my farm in Ohio 32 yard heart shot she went down fifty yards later in a pool of blood. Awsome!! Those kills were with the ST standards I think I am going to get a set of the grizz tricks this summer and shoot those. But will carry both in my quiver.

I'm very impressed with them - I shoot the Magnum 100 grainers. 1 deer, 1 coyote 1 groundhog:). With the deer, a pass-thru - both holes looked like a 12 gauge slug went through. With the coyote, the arrow got lodged in the spine.

They fly just like field points, do a number on game, and are reusable- what else do you want?

My friend, it may not be insert alignment, some of the newer last 3-4 yrs Muzzy's had less than straight ferrules, resulting in poor flight. I found the Eastman "knockoff's" to be better than the last Muzzy's I tried to shoot. [:@]
