I need an answer to a question, quick!

Ok, i should knwo the answer to this but i dont. I jsut went and bought some new arrows for a tournement tomorrow and there are a couple things just a tad bit different. The flethcihng is the same length but has a little mroe offset which is going to give it more spin. Is this going to make my trajectory higher or what? The other is, the inserts are a little bigger, not much, but maybe a couple grains. Is this going to make my arrow drop a little? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i don't tournament shoot, but i would bet that it will affect your shot. too bad you can't shoot them before your tournament to find out.

The fletchings should improve accuracy.
If the inserts change anything at all , it would most likely be that you shoot an inch or two low.
Good luck in the tourney!

I would have to agree, shoot the bow and I would bet you will shoot low also!

Can't answer all your questions, but have to agree that it is good idea to shoot them first. With a little more of a radical offset on the fletching, you may encounter clearance probs with your rest. If you have a drop-away, you may be o.k.

Just double-checked the date of posting and time. You may be already shooting in your tournament. Hope everything goes well. Keep us posted!

Hey everyone, thanks for the replies. I jsut got back form the tournement, and nothing changed, infact i shot higher! I didnt get it at all. But, it was only like a centimeter high so i just left it be. I came witha 289 this week, i had a 293 last week so ill hvae to shoot 295 next week to come out with a 300. The guys who havnt shot, i really recomend it, its a blast. This is my first year and only the second time to shoot indoor tournements. But thanks for the info, its greatly appreciated.

Hunter9022, Glad to see things went good for you at tournament. I'm not sure what your score means--I've never shot in any. I just recently joined an archery club and was planning to get into league shoots. Is this type of scoring the same? Can you explain? Thank you
