Hey fellas, Bad News...I got "down-sized" today. Yep unemployed (permanent lay-off). The GTG is definetly in jeopardy, in fact I'd say i'm out. I'll make arrangements so that Ultimate Camo full-fills it's generousity as a sponsor. I can hook up with Buckeye, locally.

I know that there will be generous offers and all, and I appreciate that. But gotta put family first.

Man this week after my birthday (6/20) has been tough lately, 2 years ago I blew out my achilles on 6/23, and now on 6/22 I get whacked. Sheesh..anyway better days ahead!

Mudshark (Chris) I apologize, but if you can sell that Mini Genesis another way I'd appreciate it. If not, I'll honor my offer.

Very sorry to hear that, this job market is TOUGH right now, and I don't think our "friends" in Washington are helping us much. I hope this all works out for you in a way that when you get to the other side of it you feel you've improved upon your situation.

Haha it's ok Dougi haven't been on in awhilejust wanted to make sure i didn't miss anything andwas still invited. I did get a new Admiral but decided not to change name. I shot last night and it is shooting pretty well, I am still trying to get her sighted in I have been slacking on my shooting alittle this summer.

See what happens when we get together and shoot. By the way, I promise to bring a spare pen next time..lol

In addition, I mentioned to Doug about doing some sort of scavenger hunt at some point. Those who have a GPS will team up with some who don't. Something we probably don't practice with much..

More details, but looking for some input. Thinking making some waypoints and hiding various prizes in the woods for those to find. Or course, you will given some clues of where its hidden when you get to your waypoint.

Any suggestions on this are welcomed. More details to follow.

That would be a cool thing, especially for the few guys who've never used one to get to toy with them.

Something different and that is what we thought. I know that many may have one, but never really "play" with it in unfamiliar ground. So this would bea good way of trying it out.

It always shows you the way of crow, but that may be a more difficult route due to the terrain ...only time will tell...:D

BTW...I will have my camera to record some video of this years event....should be fun

I can't believe there aren't MORE GUYS interested in this. For any of you lurkers, this is a great time, and would be a couple of days that you would really enjoy with a great group of guys, less myself of course, but the rest of these guys are all good guys, the type that you wouldn't get in trouble with the wife for hangin' out with!!!

At any rate, we're less than 3 weeks away!!!!

Gonna start a countdown.......

17 days till arrival......

(I'm gonna need a little help as I'll be out of town starting Thursday Morning through next Saturday night, so I hope someone here can carry my torch........:D )
