Can you spot the deer in this picture

Often its just a twitch of ear that we see.

You can click on this video of this doe getting up. He was there most of my hunt this day. Actually one video the deer is there and you can see an ear flicker.

Almost dead center, a little to the right. A doe looking to the left with ears up. Cool pic.

Good eyes you got. They do blend well. Often wonder how many we walk right by in the woods. Here another time I spotted this little guy bedded down from the stand.
DB

Of course this guy bedded right under my other stand. I have two stands close for different wind.

Nice pictures. I've caught a few deer in the process of laying down. I would have never known they were there if I hadn't been waiting there first.

Who knows how many I never spotted ;)

These guys do blend well. This one is easier to make out. Sitka blacktail doe on Kodiak Island.

Nice Pics DB!!

Deer can be like a mushroom. Sometimes they just seem to pop up out of the ground.

somehow i seen it right away...

also seen the other spot mehuntalot circled but dont think its a deer...could be wrong...caught my attention though...

definitely amazing how well they can hide....i had one bed 20yds away this rifle opener under a hemlock...no doubt he would went un-noticed if i was just walking by...and he would seen me first and been gone...got to watch him for like 3hrs...

did sneak up on my first bedded deer while actually deer hunting later that day...was easing into a spot that i like...snow on the ground and i could see a heck of a path in the fresh snow...kinda kicking myself saying "man you shoulda been there at first light!" though i seen a pile of deer from my morning stand...i couldnt find the spot i usually sat...very weird spot theres only 1 spot you can sit on the ground and see both left and right down the hill due to a couple weird humps in the terrain...was scanning left when i spotted a deer in the thicket left and down the hill...got it in the scope and IDed it as a buck...couldnt see it well and it was looking away from me so i belly crawled 30yds or so...i felt like a worm...a very COLD worm belly crawling through snow lol..but i got upto the hump and behind a big white pine and knew he had a decent rack but couldnt put 3pts to a side...funny one minute i could see him fine, the next he would vanish..then hed move and "reappear" lol...very amazing...i decided i was going to sit there and wait him out..had like 4hrs before dark...thought for sure he was legal but couldnt tell and i wasnt going to shoot him laying down anyways. i knew if he got up i would be able to see good and if he went left or right or towards me i would see him GREAT...about 5 minutes into the deal he got up and bolted away from me...all that was sticking out from behind the tree was half my face and my barrel...and he was looking away from me...i know he didnt see me...then i look below me and there was another hunter walking [:@] but when he jumped, so did a bunch more! i never seen the others...guy never seen them but i heard a shot ring out a minute after he was out of view...figured he killed it...then looked down and seen another guy moving quick..figured it was his buddy goin to help him drag...then my buddy called me on the radio sayin he got one down!! that buck and another smaller buck came running past him as he was sneaking around a couple hundred yards away! nice 2.5yo 8pt......good for my buddy! i was glad he killed him...even if he didnt get spooked i may never have...decent chance...but it was awesome sneaking up on a deer!
