Martin Bengal

Does anyone here have any experiences with the Martin Bengal. Was thinking about getting one this summer. Wondering about how smooth they shoot? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

I don't have a Bengal, but the Moab. Pretty much the same bow only in the Pro series. How smooth? Just let me say "smoooooth". Quiet, very little hand shock. Probably one of the better buys in their price range.

Don't expect a ton of speed. It's decent, but "smooth" and blistering speed do not fit in the same sentence. To gain something you give up something. You might be able to team the two up with some other bows, but probably at $200 to $300 more money.

If you have a dealer anywhere close why not go down and test drive one. I'll bet you buy it.

i just bought a 2009 martin bengal on thursday. I couldn't tell the diff between the moab and the bengal. I went with the bengal. I paid $399 + tax from Ted Brooks archery in Kalamazoo, Michigan. & it included the sts system and the cable roller guard. AWESOME DEAL.

It's plenty fast and so easy smooth to pull back. Accurate also. Really really quiet and absolute no vibe.
Do yourself a favor and get either two. Best bows for the money and martins service is the best.
I pull 59lbs. 28 inch draw and i'm getting 280fps with carbon express 250's arrrows.

If you want to save $200-400 get the bengal or moab. You won't believe the way they shoot and how well built they are. The m2 cam is the smoothest i have ever shot.

I wanted to try out the Martin line of bows but none of the dealers in our area carry Martin bows.
