Being a Mathews owner, you really should have this site bookmarked on your computer. Every thing except your string and cable is covered under your warranty. Thats lifetime, original owner. You have a serial number on your bow and I' m sure Mathews knows the original owner assigned to it. Have you taken it back to the shop you purchased from for warranty work? Have you twisted the string yourself? Don' t get in a tizzy because someone mentions cracked limbs could be the cause. If you can' t twist them yourself, or don' t have access to a press, take it to a shop. Tell them your bow is suppose to hit 70lbs. and it only goes to 64 or what ever. If they set your cam rotation while maintaining A to A and brace hight and you still don' t hit 70, contact Mathews.

Be careful with the string twisting. I have a Legacy and Mathews said to absolutely not retwist the string as it WILL affect the cam timing. I have a problem with my peep rotation and that is why i called them.

Nub,this is exactly why I said to take it to a shop.He says this is his first bow and he needs a profesional to make the decision of whether it is just the cable needing to be twisted(most likely the problem) or something a bit more major.

If the limb was cracked you would most likely hear something and performance would be down.If the limb was just weak then you wouldn' t hear it and you may not notice it isn' t performing up to it' s full potential, especially if you are new to this. There would most likely be tuning issues though.
