I have tried the 2 eye approach but for the time being it did not work for me.
I plan on giving it another go this spring and summer so for now it is my dominate eye only.

You need one more choice in your poll, "Both ways". Lighting can definitely effect sight picture. I prefer both open so I can see more, but sometimes lighting requires you close or at least half close the non-dominant eye.
Exactly.
I agree with these gentlemen!

I shoot with my right eye open and my left eye closed, I tried shooting both open, but i think my left is slightly dominant over my right and i don't feel like changing, not now at least.

1 open. I find my target, lock on, then close one eye before I tighten up my pins. It has worked well for me and I plan to continue using only one eye.

I always shot with one eye but a couple of years my vison started geting worse. This spring I was diagnosed with an eye diease that will gradually get worse until I will need a cornea transplant so the only way I can shoot is with both eyes open.

hillarious, people closing an eye when they shoot - it really is ....... does Jordan close an eye shooting a ball? Tiger close an eye hitting a golf ball? Did Howard Hill close an eye shooting his bow?
