That seems to be the hunter stereotype and many would think it's unfair, but there surely are plenty of knuckleheads amongst hunters to give some real credibility to it!!

I got a story for you about ghille suit.
Several years a go, my father and I were archery hunting. One of the places we hunt is a state park.
There is a camp ground in this park as well as several hiking trails. On one of the trails you can hunt one one side and not on the other side of the actual trail. This happens to be where we were hunting.
My father was hunting about 20yds. off to the side of the hiking trail where you were allowed to hunt. he was setting against a tree in his ghille/leafy outfit with his bow waiting for deer.
He hears some talking and looks behind him and sees 3 young girls walking down the hiking trail toward him. They were about 10-12 years old. As they got closer he decided he should stand up so they would see that he was hunting there.
He stands up and waves at them. mind you, he is wearing a ghille suit with head piece and all.
The girls froze in there tracks as they stared at my dad. Then turned screaming and running back to where they had come from.

i almost got arrested while in the stand when hunting on property i had written permission to hunt on because these people who live close by thought i was tearing up the field on my 4wheeler, but i was just driving to my stand, and i never even had it out of 3rd gear-i had to do some major butt kissing with the officer and even make 3 phone calls to keep my a$$ out of a trip to jail

I was sitting in a tree stand last season on Ft Sill,OKwhen I heard something crashing threw the trees behind me and I turned around and seen a huge bull elk behind me with a doe following close behind.
