Huge doe, Oct.3rd, first deer, and with a bow!! Sorry the quallity is terrible. Google didn't load very well I guess (any better suggestions let me know). Looksvery clear on facebook. Wow, that was awesome!!!! I don't think I've ever seen a video of someone getting there 1st deer, way awesome and a lady to boot!! Your a lucky man WCL!! Good footage and well done!! Congratulation's once again to your Miss's!!

Yeah schultzy thats what I told her. She was so excited for me to tape her and I kept tellin her this season "I can't promise to get it on video. If you have the shot take it. I've neverhave beenvideod shootin a deer with the bow so if it doesnt happen don't worry about it" Just hasn't worked out... Tell ya what i wasn't sure if she would be nervous with the camera but she said she never thought about the camera. Was kinda tough on my part cuz I had to help her when to stand up,draw, stop the deer, and try to look at the deer and back and forth with the camera but it worked out great. She was too vervous she would mess up and bein a newbie she wanted me to help with all those things. She learned alot this year and unfortunatly her buck didn't work out....
Would have had a double video of her first doe and first buck. Great video and at 11 yards, just shot low and barely caught him behind the shoulder. Very light watery blood and he is just fine I'm sure Trailed over a half mile with light drops till it quit. Owell next year... Glad you all are enjoying it. WCL

Thanks it isn't much just the clip with no editing. Don't know much about that yet. Tryin to figure it out cuz I have a bunch of sweet nightbowfishinclips I can put together once I do with some music. Hope to get that goin soon. WCL

Very cool!!! My girlfriend just shot her 1st bow last week, has it all set up and shooting baseball size groups yesterday, is taking hunter safety class this weekend, and is going to be a bow hunter(she claims) come turkey season in 30 days. She just thinks archery is cool as heck and is glad I turned her onto the sport.

Yeah I know I'm a pretty lucky guy. Its fun helpin her and takin her out same for the youth kids I take every year duck and deer huntin.Can't wait to start puttin cameras out again and hang stands with her. She doesn't think she will have time to turkey hunt this year but we will see. We were close last year on a few toms (she had the 20ga) and she could have shot a bunch of jakes and a bearded hen on video but she "wanted to shoot a big tom" :) and the closest ones came to about maybe 12ga range. Lookin back she wished she would have killed the hen. Funny thing is I got pics of that hen this fall with some late babies. In august I saw them (flushed infront of my truck goin to put cmaeras out) and they were the size of grouse!!. I'll have to find the pics of the hen I got in sept. WCL

Found it. Here she is 9/6 and when I saw them it was like the first week of august and they were maybe the size of grouse butprobably evensmaller. They put alot of weight on in about 4 weeks.... Hard to see her beard but yousorta can. Easier to see when zoomed in. Wheresheshould have shot herlast spring was 80 yards to the right and down the egde of the field a little ways from the pic. WCL

You bet... Wish I would have saved it so I coulda mounted it for her. She wanted a buck so bad and she should have had one but that didn't work out, so now we wish we would have saved her big doe. This year I'll be keepin her next deer just incase the buck thing dont work out again :). WCL

Haha no kidding. I think I was more nervous than her until..... after I stopped filmin and she sat down. Then she was shakin pretty good and her hads were still quiverin when we got back to the truck. She goes "look I can't stop shakin and held out her had flat." Itold her "thatswhat is supose to happen" :D. WCL
