Default X-Scent Socks....the best I've used for odor elimination

While I touted these socks some of the best I've ever worn, this lady's write up is a bit more extreme than what I've tried, but my experience was that these socks are as good as advertised.

Thanks Doug,

Sometimes GOOD socks are hard to find. I'll have to give them a look.

Rob,
I did my own 3 day test prior to heading West to Elk hunt in '05, and I wore that same pair of socks for 3 days while working, and on the third day, while at work one of my co-workers made fun of my "Army Green Socks," so I told her (her husband being a hunter) they were scent-free hunting socks. Intrigued her enough that she after a little coaxing was willing to put her nose within inches of my feet because she didn't believe there were socks that could keep your feet from stinking. After she'd "sniffed" my feet she was telling another co-worker about them (whose husband also hunted) and I had two women in one night smelling my feet that had been in those socks for 3 days, and neither could detect "stinky feet" odor. I wore 3 pair the 7 days I was in Colorado, and they did smell a little after a couple days of hiking around on those mountains, but not anything like the other socks I'd worn in the past. The socks will literally "take the stink" out of your feet if you wear a clean pair everyday for a week.

I actually just ordered 6 pair for $28 off of Ebay this morning, as I'm looking forward to being in the Mountains of Colorado in about 6 months!!!!

When I saw the thread title, I assumed it was another HCH thread about the best thing ever, having tried every sock out there, from Wigwam, Coleman, Smart Wool, Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, etc. Just kidding on this part.

As for the X-scent, I agree. I have three pairs, and they are really nice. As far as odor, can't really say either way. Comfort though, they are superior to any others I've worn. I've only just began spending some money on good socks, and it does pay off.

I don't know how good they are for odor elimination, but I can tell you they are some of the most comfortable socks I have ever put on my feet. My feet feel better after a day of hunting in them than they do most other days. They really are a great sock!

Have to agree with all above..........X-scent socks are comfortable and at least to my nose after taking them off I can't smell stink. Can't get my wife to smell my feet with them on[8D].
