Rest for Admiral: Hostage Pro?

With my Admiral expecting to come in any time in the next several weeks I am beginning to look at rests. My proshop guy recommends the Octane Hostage Pro very highly, however, I've heard that the brushes wear out pretty quickly. I had a regular hostage on my Tomkat and never had this problem.

So, I was just wondering if you all would recommend going with the Hostage pro or another type of rest. Thanks for any advice.

I think the Hostage Pro is a great full containment rest if you are looking for that type of rest.

I have a Limb Driver on my BowTech Captain!;)

I have the hostage pro on my black ice and love it. Yeah the brushes are going to wear out eventually but the new ones are only like $9. I've shot mine probably500 times so far and they're not wearing out at all. The only thing I don't like is fuzz from my field point target gets stuck in the brushes and I have to clean it out every now and then.

Just an observation guys --- bowtech is cleanin up with these admirals this year ! every other thread is admral this admiral that ! are there that many diehard BT guys on here or are these bows this popular this year ? By the way im goin with the hostage pro on mine - Final Answer !

No offense to some of you super tuners but i think for my strictly hunting application , it will suite my shooting ability , and more importantly my tuning abilitys !;)

I put an Ultra Rest on mine and like it.. If I was going to go to a containment rest though it would be the hostage pro.. Might try it one day, I like how quiet they can be...
